Luxury Fashion House D’ORÉ in Sandton Celebration

In line with the world’s most renowned multi-brand department stores, D’ORÉ brings a whole new luxury shopping experience to South Africa.

The D’ORÉ fashion house, who is already known for being the home to some of the world’s amazing and top luxury fashion brands such as Emilio Pucci, Escada, Cavalli, Armani Collezione, Rupert Sanderson, Elie Tahari, Vanessa G London amongst others, is now officially launching its new Loyalty Program called D’ORÉ PRIVÉ, in celebration of their 1st birthday this month.

‘Loyalty’ is very important to D’ORÉ and its staff, so the great news is that each time D’ORÉ customers spend in-store or even the online site, points will be earned. Which I think is pretty much what all us ladies want!

D’ORÉ hopes to afford its loyal customers only the best of best in personalized service with exclusive value-added services which will add to its already service-focused store environment.

Vanessa Gouden herself had some great things to say when I interviewed her at this fabulous Birthday Celebration that was held at the  D’ORÉ store in Sandton City last night.

K: What matters to you most as a fashion designer, when deciding where to display your garments?

V: I think its about having to utilize your space in such a way that it gives the floor to express the garment as to appose to downing it with all other forms. Simplicity is important to me, and location is perfect in terms of the kind of ambiance you want to create and story you actually want to tell. So for me these are the fundamental points in the way I display it.

K: And what is it about the brands that the store houses which stands out and makes it fitting for the D’ORÉ store?

V: It’s a number of things, its about the uniqueness and sense of individuality. I don’t buy to many of the same kind, so women feel very comfortable to be able to purchase a garment and feel that they are the only ones that are wearing it, so it’s niche produced. What I also think is important to me in terms of the clothing and the selection , is about giving each woman  a chance to express themselves through a variety  of brands that allows her to do that, still be in trend, and still be in step of the fashion segments of the season.

It is D’ORÉ vision to constantly delight and inspire their clients, whether it is through adding new and exciting brands, or new seasonal collections.

With D’Ore, you always ‘say more’…
